settling claims. We have assisted in two ways: 1) at the clients' location,
working directly on files with specific settlement authority and to identify
files that were not properly reserved 2) Clients have shipped us files with
authority to manage and settle claims. Most have been cases in litigation. Our closing ratio within authority extended by the client is over 80%.
TECUM's expertise addresses any situation in which spending, staffing or
acquisitions have caused overflow. Generally, these assists result from
consolidation of offices or companies where temporary help is the best
solution to overflow problems. On any file TECUM handles, we also
perform a Legal Bill Review to insure the client's Litigation Management guidelines are being followed and to insure the client is receiving aggressive handling by their firms.
