TECUM has assisted a number of clients by performing claim audits to determine the level of service being provided by their claims personnel. A claims audit consists of a detailed file review process which is the best method for determining how well clients are managing their cases and firms. Claim service providers can benefit by having an independent (outside service) perform such an evaluation. This type of independent review also will insure consistency between various offices and across regions. It can also be used to develop a new internal audit procedure and program. Often, clients provide members of their own staff to work with TECUM during claims audits. We welcome the participation of our clients in any audit process.
